The Chases own the restaurant Dooky Chase’s, whose founder, Leah Chase, was an inspiration for the character of Princess Tiana. “Tiana is leading the way and fans will be able to encounter old friends and make new ones along the way as well,” the post says, adding that the ride will feature an original soundtrack inspired by songs from the movie.ĭisney creatives recently traveled to New Orleans, where they met with members of the Chase family.
